This is a one day course which covers Fat Dissolve Injections using Deso. Deso is a more modern less painful alternative to Aqualyx that once injected that helps treat localised, stubborn fat on the face and body that just won’t shift with diet and exercise. It is a form of lipolysis, a non-invasive treatment which accelerates the body’s natural fat removal process. We accept both medics and non-medics for this course.
Non-medics must either hold a NVQ level 3 in Beauty or have 6 months needling experience alongside Anatomy & Physiology Level 3. Needling experience could include Microneedling, Microblading, SPMU, Phlebotomy or similar. If however you are a complete beginner, you should book our Fast Track Into Aesthetics course to firstly gain needle experience.
Day 1: Teaching Session (3 hours)

- Theoretical Overview of Fat Dissolving Injections
Covering Aqualyx, Desobody, Lemon Bottle – understanding the science, mechanism, and product specifics.
19:15 – 20:15
- Patient Assessment and Consultation Techniques
Techniques for assessing patient suitability, managing expectations, and obtaining informed consent.
20:15 – 21:00
- Injection Techniques and Anatomy
Detailed instruction on injection techniques, relevant anatomy, and safety protocols.
Day 2: Assessment Session (3 hours)
18:00 – 18:15
- Introduction to Assessment Day
Explanation of assessment criteria and format.
18:15 – 20:00
- Practical Assessment
Participants demonstrate their skills in a supervised environment. This includes patient consultation, preparation, and performing the injection technique.
20:00 – 21:00
- Feedback, Review, and Certification
Instructors provide individual feedback and review key learning points. Closing remarks, distribution of certificates, and final Q&A session.
